Forces of Ukuechana

Government and allied forces.

Native forces of Ukuechana.

Like any conflict the troops of both the loyal government and the ultranationalists are various. From special forces to ill equipped militia’s the forces fighting for every inch of the blood docked land.

Basic militias.

A force even more varied than the others. Some are nothing more than angry mobs with hand weapons whilst others are well funded religious fanatics others are villagers defending their homes with hunting rifles whilst some have fleets of armed tacticals. Equipment is basic and very poorly maintained and supplies are often scarce.

Trained militias.

After the war with Speica many of the hastily formed militias were told to disband. Very few did and many others refused to give up captured war gear. They are normally better trained with much better equipment and body armour is often found amongst them. A few even have some military gear and one is even rumoured to have a few attack helicopters. There training is normally less than the regular army though some militias are made from ex military run.

Territorial troops.

Territorial troops in Ukuechana were required to do a week’s worth of training every two months with a  quarter of each unit on station for three months. Most have remained loyal to the government though there actual loyalty is unknown. Some have deserted in mid battle and while some have refused to move from their barracks. Most of their equipment is of 1994 Russian stock with the main battle tank being the rather ancient T-55.

Regular troops.

The Ukuechana regulars formed the main force of the country’s army before the civil war. Most have sided with the ultranationalist forces with only a fraction staying loyal to the government. They have some of the best equipment in the country with many having newly  acquired russian gear and tanks.

Naval infantry/sailors.

Nearly all of the naval forces have remained loyal to the government as general Mitrofan was never a fan of the navy. The Naval infantry have suffered heavy losses during the early days of the war so many units have been bolstered with sailors drawn from the currently docked navy. Like the territorial troops most of their equipment is russian 1994 stock.

Iron guard/paras.

The elite of the Ukuechanan army the Iron guard and paras are the best of the regular units. The Iron gaurd(Army group one)  have the newest tanks available to Ukuechana army in the form of seventy five T-90’s freshly arrived from Russia. Sadly all the Iron guard tank units have sided with the ultranationalists.

The paras on the other hand, have sided with the government forces. Due to the pars complete failure in the last war with Speica the unit has revived very little new equipment. Many paras have bought their own gear to complement this leading to a very odd mix of weapons. Many commanders seek to redeem their units honour and return them to prestige in the country forces.

Spetsnaz

The best  forces in the country. The country’s spetsnaz are divided into three groups consisting of the army, naval and airborne units. Loyalty of them is various with many in the army having sided with the ultra-nationalists while the airborne and naval have sided with the government.

Navy

The Ukuechana navy is small, but it serves it country's purpose. Made up of four main sections consisting of the carrier strike group, the support fleet and the coastal patrol section. All of it's ships are of old soviet stock and have undergone many refits to keep them up to operational standards.

Carrier section

Defiance Kara-class cruiser

                Sovremennyy-class destroyer

                 Sovremennyy-class destroyer

            Yankee class submarine
             Kilo-class submarine
             Kilo-class submarine

Air force

The Ukuechana air force numbers ruffle around 500 aircraft of various models. Many have sided with the ultra-nationalists making this a very difficult war.  Pilot training various as well.

Police.

Having never shaken off it KGB days the Ukuechana police is very militarised. RPG’s and LMG’s are common weapons kept in the back of police cars.

UIIF.

The Ukuechana international intervention force is a force created by allied countries to aid in the stabilisation of the country and the defeat of the Ultranationalists. Forces included troops from Britain, America, France, Germany, Canada, Poland and Japan. They have taken on multiple roles from frontline combat, Spec ops and training the Ukuechan government forces.

Ultrananolists

Worse than an unknown enemy is an enemy you thought was your friend. The Ultranationalist forces consist of the majority of the country's full trained armed forces. With the most advanced weapon's the country had along with the best-trained operatives they won't go down without a fight.

UPLA

An umbrella term used for many of the country's guerrilla groups the UPLA have a mix of weapons and gear. Some are well funded and equipped gorilla groups whilst others are a few drunken mobs with some looted hunting rifles.

  1. Nice force list. Do you Have a TO&E for what a Ukuechana Brigade, battalion, company, platoon squad would consist of?
IS there a different force stricter between the types of troops, conscripts, territorials, Regulars...etc
